Overview

SHRSS – Director, Latin Marketing is responsible for developing and executing the casino marketing plan that is concentrated for the Latin and Hispanic clientele with consideration of the cultural distinction of this target market. Job will include cultivating and maintaining relationships with VIP Casino guests to increase awareness within the brand, build loyalty, which will result in the growth of gaming business.Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

:May include but are not limited to:Work to identify uncoded Hispanic and / or Latin VIP Customers based on surname

Identify and hire Spanish and Portuguese speaking hosts to develop and grow the targeted clienteleWork with all six SGA properties to curate and develop a comprehensive and uniform multicultural Marketing Calendar that will serve as a platform for growing Latin businessWork with Hard Rock Properties across the brand to identify key trip drivers through market researchDeveloping new business relationships and maintaining relationships with Casino Marketing leaders throughout the brand to create cross market opportunities to import business to FloridaCreating a strategic plan to implement marketing ideas for Special Events and PromotionsImproving and expanding on traditional legacy events that exist within the Marketing Calendar while finding new opportunities to grow the target marketIdentifying and implement programs on the casino floor to increase volume whether it is through Marketing, Gaming or F&BIdentify community and charitable events to take a part in that fit the Hard Rock Brand and serves to support the target audienceWorking with Gaming and F&B to expand on property offerings and options that would be in-line with Guest expectationsDetermine and approve the issuance of appropriate player reinvestmentServes as an ongoing ambassador and advocate for our gaming product and amenities to valued guests.Serves as a resource and provides guidance for hosts, executive hosts and player development executives.Maintain the highest standards of ethical business conductOversee and manage the Player Development Executive team, Executive Host team, Casino Host team, and Player Development Coordinators.Attend functions hosted by property to serve and assist invited guestsDevelop department members’ knowledge and skills through education, training, coaching, corrective counseling, etc.Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication.

Qualifications

QualificationsBachelor’s or associate degree preferred. Requires 5+ years of experience within the casino industry or Latin focused special event production business.Must be able to speak Spanish fluently with the ability to speak Portuguese a plusMust be able to read and write in SpanishMust have 5+ years of experience in the casino industry (2+ of which as a Casino Host, Executive Host, or PD Executive) or Latin focused special event productionMust have 2+ years of experience managing a team, preferably in a Casino Marketing or Sales organizationHighly personable, able to easily articulate information and build strong relationships across multiple internal departments and potentially multiple external propertiesMust possess ability to manage multiple projects at onceMust be very detail-orientedMust be proficient in Microsoft Offices and demonstrate the ability to learn new computer driven applications and systemsWork Environment:Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional office setting, but there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area.
