While Danielle Collins will hang her racquet after 2024, Spanish star Garbine Muguruza also made a more shattering revelation recently. The 2-time Grand Slam champion has put an end to her career after taking a break from the sport last season. Despite her retirement, the 30-year-old has not given up on tennis entirely.

The Madrid Open has entered the semifinal stage with Taylor Fritz and Andrey Rublev coming against each other today. There was some major star power in the stands as two-time major champion Garbine Muguruza, accompanied by her fiancé Arthur Borges, quietly sat with sunglasses on.

Interestingly, Muguruza and Borges were seated ahead of tournament director, Feliciano Lopez and Daniella Hantuchova. Muguruza and Borges looked dapper in blazers as they made quite a starry appearance in Madrid. While Borges opted for black sunglasses, Muguruza was spotted wearing transparent purple ones that complemented her look.

Borges and Muguruza got engaged last year and the Spanish-Venezuelan opted to take a break from the sport to focus on her mental well-being and personal life.
