Cundy tears into Tuchel

The Bayern Munich fans are still in the Bernabeu, and they are applauding Thomas Tuchel off.

However, Jason Cundy feels he got the Harry Kane decision horribly wrong.

Speaking on The Sports Bar, he said: “It’s unforgivable. I don’t get at 85 taking off Harry Kane and Jamal Musiala.

“Maybe if you want to bring off an extra pair of legs in midfield – but to take off Kane when you might need a goal – he’s the highest goalscorer in all top five divisions. Highest scorer in the Champions League.

“And almost like clockwork it happened… of course, Manuel Neuer should hold it but you create your own luck and that’s what Real Madrid do. They create their own fortune.

“Tuchel, at that level, that’s probably one of the worst managerial substitutions I think I’ve ever seen. It didn’t feel right at the time and I was thinking he had to win this otherwise people will talk about that.

Joselu’s night

When Joselu was in England, he played 68 Premier League games for Stoke and Newcastle combined.

In that time, he managed just ten goals before leaving and moving back to Spain.

His career has picked up back in his homeland, playing internationally for his country and completing a loan move to Real Madrid.

However, this has to be the peak of his career. What an evening for the veteran striker.

Bellingham reacts

Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has been speaking to TNT Sports about his side’s incredible win over Bayern Munich to reach the Champions League final.

He said: “It looked like we were dead and buried, but we have that mentality of never-say-die.

“Joselu won’t be sleeping much tonight.

“He deserves it all. He’s been an amazing member of the squad throughout the whole season; it’s his night.

“The final, at Wembley, against Dortmund; it’s a weird one – I can’t believe it.

“But I am so looking forward to it.”
