The 81-year-old artist mentioned that he will start the recordings in the studio, after returning to the country from his “Emotions on the High Seas” show season, which he performs every year on a cruise along the Brazilian coast.
“I have several songs to record, I’m going into the studio right now, I want to make a new album in Spanish, because I haven’t done anything in that language for a long time,” he said during the press conference, reported EFE.
Although Roberto Carlos did not mention when the release would be for when, he did state that it will be for this 2023, although he “wants to do many things”, so he has already recorded four new songs.
“I’m deciding how I release them, if all together or one at a time, but I have that up my sleeve,” he mentioned, according to the news agency.
Roberto Carlos’ last album was “Amor sin límite”, released in 2018, which includes some hits such as “Esa Mujer”, “Cuando digo que te amo” and “Luz Divina”.
On Sunday night, the artist returned to the port of Rio de Janeiro, after concluding his tour with the Emotions Project cruise, in which his followers were able to accompany him for five days and four nights in an adventure that set sail from Santos, Sao Paulo, last Thursday, March 2nd.
