Fairborn, Ohio — Trey Townsend scored 19 points as Oakland beat Wright State 74-60 on Saturday night.

Townsend added seven rebounds and three blocks for the Golden Grizzlies (16-10, 11-4 Horizon League). D.Q. Cole scored 15 points while finishing 7 of 11 from the floor, and added 11 rebounds. Jack Gohlke finished 5 of 11 from 3-point range to finish with 15 points.

Tanner Holden finished with 15 points, 10 rebounds and five steals for the Raiders (14-12, 9-6). Trey Calvin added 14 points for Wright State. Brandon Noel also had 11 points, eight rebounds and three steals.

Up next for Oakland is a Wednesday match-up with Purdue Fort Wayne on the road, and Wright State hosts Robert Morris on Saturday.

(At) Northern Kentucky 79, Detroit Mercy 59: Marques Warrick scored 22 points as Northern Kentucky kept the Titans winless this season. Warrick also contributed five assists for the Norse (13-12, 8-6 Horizon League). Michael Bradley scored 16 points and added six assists and three steals. LJ Wells shot 5 of 7 from the field and 1 for 3 from the line to finish with 13 points.

Jayden Stone led the Titans (0-26, 0-15) in scoring, finishing with 24 points, six rebounds and two blocks. Marcus Tankersley added 24 points and two steals for Detroit Mercy. Edoardo Del Cadia also recorded 13 points, nine rebounds and two blocks.

(At) UL Monroe 82, Eastern Michigan 76: Tyreke Locure’s 25 points helped UL Monroe. Locure also contributed 10 rebounds and six assists for the Warhawks (9-14, 4-8 Sun Belt Conference). Nika Metskhvarishvili scored 20 points and added six rebounds and three steals. Savion Gallion had 11 points on 4-for-5 shooting.

Tyson Acuff finished with 29 points to lead the Eagles (9-15, 2-9 Mid-American Conference). Arne Osojnik added 22 points. Jalin Billingsley totaled 10 points and nine rebounds.

▶Central Michigan 58, (at) Old Dominion 57: Jemal Davis’ 19 points helped Central Michigan defeat Old Dominion 58-57 on Saturday.

Davis shot 4 for 8 (0 for 3 from 3-point range) and 11 of 13 from the free throw line for the Chippewas (14-10, 8-3 Mid-American Conference), who held on to the lead over the final 4 1/2 minutes. Derrick Butler added 13 points while shooting 5 for 13, including 2 for 7 from beyond the arc, and they had nine rebounds and three steals. Aidan Rubio shot 4 for 8, including 2 for 5 from beyond the arc to finish with 10 points.

The Monarchs (6-19, 2-11 Sun Belt Conference) were led in scoring by Chaunce Jenkins, who finished with 16 points. Tyrone Williams added 12 points and eight rebounds for Old Dominion. In addition, R.J. Blakney finished with 12 points, seven rebounds and two blocks.

(At) Southern Mississippi 86, Western Michigan 54: Victor Iwuakor scored 31 points in the MAC-SBC challenge.

Iwuakor added 13 rebounds, three steals, and three blocks for the Golden Eagles (14-11) of the Sun Belt Conference. Tegra Izay scored 13 points while shooting 6 of 7 from the field. Donovan Ivory had 12 points and shot 4 for 7, including 4 for 6 from beyond the arc.

The Broncos (8-16) were led by Seth Hubbard, who posted 17 points and two steals. Owen Lobsinger added 12 points, seven rebounds and three steals for Western Michigan (Mid-American Conference). Jefferson Monegro also had 10 points and five assists.

(At) Wayne State 84, Davenport 70: Rob Lee Jr. scored 21, Carmelo Harris 19 and Colin Golson Jr. 12 for Wayne State (10-12, 4-9 GLIAC). Jovan Tucker had 12 points and nine rebounds for Davenport (9-13, 4-8).

(At) Michigan 86, Rutgers 58: Cameron Williams scored 23, Jordan Hobbs scored 16 and Lauren Hansen scored 12 for Michigan (16-9, 7-6 Big Ten). Destiny Adams scored 15 for Rutgers (7-19, 1-12).

Louisiana 54, (at) Central Michigan 51: Tamiah Robinson scored 14 for Louisiana (10-12). Tiana Timpe scored 14 for Central (5-16).

(At) Eastern Michigan 81, South Alabama 69: Tayra Eke scored 13, Olivia Smith 12 and kennedi Myles and Olivia Westphal 11 each for Eastern (6-16). Jordan Rosier scored 23 for South Alabama (8-17).

Appalachian State 78, (at) Western Michigan 68: Emily Carver scored 16 and Faith Alston 15 for Appalachian State (13-11). Kaitlyn Zarycki scored 22 and De’Ahna Richardson 19 for Western Michigan (9-12).

Youngstown State 54, (at) Detroit Mercy 49: Dena Jarrells scored 12 and Malia Magestro and Shay-Lee Kirby 11 each for (11-14, 7-8 Horizon). Imani McNeal scored 14 and Irene Murua 12 for Detroit Mercy (15-11, 8-7).

(At) Oakland 67, Robert Morris 65: Markyia McCormick scored 13, Brooke Quarles-Daniels 12 and Kennedie Montue 11 for Oakland (10-13, 6-9 Horizon). Simone Morris scored 19 for Robert Morris (6-18, 2-13).
