LAST TIME VS. URI

The Bears visit the Thomas Ryan Center for the second consecutive season. Brown defeated Rhode Island 59-58 last season. Kimo Ferrari drained a three with 55 seconds remaining to lift the Bears over the Rams. 

RHODE ISLAND RING OF HONOR

Brown assistant coach Tyson Wheeler will be one of three former Rams inducted into the URI Ring of Honor on Wednesday evening. Wheeler, in his second season at Brown, is URI’s second-leading scorer (1,918) and holds the program record with 712 assists. At the time of graduation, he led URI all-time in steals (205), and three-pointers (302) and was a two-time First Team All-Atlantic 10.

1K CLUB

Kino Lilly Jr became the 33rd member of the 1,000-point club on Friday vs. Bryant, collecting 19 points in the three-point setback. Lilly Jr. is averaging 19.1 points per game and is the ninth player to hit the 1K mark since Mike Martin ’04 became the head coach of his alma mater (2012). Lilly Jr. ranks sixth in program history in three-pointers made with 178.
